Children ages 3-12 with "proof" of birthday receive free admission to Dinosaur World year around.

"Children Just Like Me" will open Oct. 10th 2009 and close January 10th, 2010. It is a 2,500 square foot multi-cultural exhibit offering visitors a chance to become acquainted with children from around the world. Vignettes take visitors around the world to meet their peers from eleven countries on six continents. An introductory computer interactive encourages young visitors to discover the languages of all eleven children in the exhibit, while making relational geographic comparisons on an oversized globe. The exhibit is based on DK Publishing's award winning book by the same title and showcases the unique diversity of the world's children while exploring the common bonds they share. Visitors discover each child's language, food, games, music pets, clothing and much more through multi-sensory interactives in each area. The exhibit comes to the museum from the Cincinnati Museum Center.

Period dressed guides interpret the traditions of a 19th century family at Christmas time. Experience what it was like to live at the confluence of the Kentucky & Ohio Rivers during the winter. Explore the surprise cargo that has arrived by river just in time for Christmas. Offered as the daily tour during the holiday season. Great for school groups too!

USTA tennis tournament for boys and girls age divisions 12's and 16's (singles divisions only). There is a $30.00 flat fee with a free t-shirt. All USTA tournament rules govern play. The tournament is a full feed-in. A USTA certified referee provided during play. Most matches will begin on Saturday at 8:00a.m. if possible and only after 6:00 p.m. if necessary on Friday evening... This gives players plenty of time to finish school classes and still have time to drive to the tourney. Check with the tournament desk for any questions. Players will be notified as to their fist match play times by Wednesday prior to the weekend.

Selected in 2004 as one of the Top Ten events in Kentucky and one of the Top Twenty events by the Southeast Tourism Council, this parade is the largest Christmas parade in Kentucky and the tri-state area. 2009 will be the 73rd year for the parade, with the theme being "Miracle on Second Street".

Winter Wonderland brings snowy activities to the banks of the Ohio River at RiverPark Center. This festival includes an enormous Christmas tree at the entrance of an outdoor skating rink, a massive 20 x 40 foot cinema air screen playing favorite holiday movies, refreshments, caroling, children's rides, sleigh rides and visits from Santa.

Have you ever made a shadow puppet or played in a percussion orchestra? Ever wondered what could happen when you put the two together? Inspired by the music and shadow theatre traditions of Indonesia, artist Gregory Acker and Brenda Wirth invite you to create your own shadow puppet character, compose and play new music, and collaborate on stories both ancient and new. Free for members, $5 for non-members.
